Mr. Chu has over 40 years of experience in both the Chinese and US chemical industries. Mr. Chu started his career at Jilin Chemical (now part of PetroChina) where he designed and managed a major part of its production infrastructure. Mr. Chu also held senior technical management position at Guangdong provincial agricultural chemical bureau. He is a graduate of chemical engineering at Dalian University in China. |

Mr. Chu has over 15 years of experience managing Chinese and US chemical and pharmaceutical companies. At Eastar, he started as Sales and Marketing Manager before his role as president. Currently he is also in charge of building Eastar's China Sales business in Shanghai. In addition to Eastar, Mr. Chu is a seasoned entrepreneur. He invests and is instrumental in building a number of start-up businesses. He is a graduate of Cal Poly in California, USA. |

Brainard has been actively involved in the chemical industry for over 40 years, starting his career with Diamond Shamrock Chemical Corporation and continuing with Atlantic Richfield Corporation, Inolex Chemical Company, and Reichhold in senior executive positions of responsibility, both domestically and internationally. |

Mr. Loflin has over 30 years of experience in the Colorants industry. Prior to becoming VP of Eastar Colorants, Mr. Loflin was the General Manager of Bayer’s Colorants Division in South Corolina. During the course of his career, Mr. Loflin had been in charge of laboratory, research and development, production, quality management, and corporate planning. He had spent the past 5 years in China developing and implementing Eastar’s China strategic plans as well as managing operations in sales, marketing, R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality. He is also responsible for the identification and acquisition of customers, formation of business alliances, management of financial and human resources for the Colorants division. |

For over 16 years professor Wang has been actively involved in the research of medicinal and process chemistry. He is now an associate professor of Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Key Laboratory of Structure-based Drugs Design & Discovery of Ministry of Education, School of Pharmaceutical Engineering, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, China. Professor Wang’s research interests are focused in two areas: one is structure-based drug design of inhibitors of aldose reductase, α-glucosidase and xanthine oxidase with the aim of finding small molecular compounds as the potential therapeutic agents for the treatment of diabetes mellitus (and its complications) and gout. The other is process development research of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and their intermediates.
