Eastar's custom manufacturing operation takes advantage of Eastar's unique technology platforms and strength in process developments. This allows the development of new chemistries and efficient processes that sets us apart from our competition. Eastar's focus is in producing chemicals with unique competitive advantage.

Besides custom manufacturing in our own sites, Eastar also assists our customers to source from quality Chinese producers. With 20 years of experience in purchasing raw materials for our custom manufacturing, Eastar has developed a vast network of Chinese producers and alliances. This allows our sourcing professionals to locate hard to find chemicals or to find unique quality producers to develop unique chemicals that are not possible from our own production facilities. All Eastar's sourced products are supported by Eastar's Quality Control (QC) laboratory infrastructure in China and managed by our experienced Quality Assurance (QA) team.

Eastar Colorants Co. Ltd.

Eastar Colorants primarily involved in the toll production of unique and high performance pigments, dispersions, and specialty dyes. With strong international team of research and development experts, Eastar Colorants has developed and produced unique products not available from China.

In addition, Eastar Colorants assists our alliance manufacturers in China to develop and produce colorants that is not possible from our own production facility. These products are then resold by Eastar Colorants to our customers. With resell products, Eastar Colorants takes on the responsibility to perform plant audits and overall quality control oversight (including testing and approval of all production lots) on all its alliance manufacturers and suppliers. In addition, onsite technical and project managers are assigned as needed to ensure materials are produced on time and to customer requirement.
